What is global warming?

Global warming is the gradual increase of the Earth`s atmosphere`s overall temperature. This is connected with the greenhouse effect, resulting from the increasing levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, as well as other pollutants admitted by humans. Over the past 50 years, the global temperature has been rising at the fastest rate in history. If this problem is ignored, the U.S. temperatures could increase by 10 degrees fahrenheit.

What causes global warming?

Global warming occurs when carbon dioxide, air pollutants, and greenhouse gases collect in the atmosphere. Humans add these heat-trapping greenhouse gases to the atmosphere, causing the issue. These certain gases being let off into the atmosphere by humans, such as methane, carbon dioxide, and nitrous oxide block heat from escaping the atmosphere; therefore causing the increasing overall temperature. According to NASA, it was concluded that there is over a 95% probability that human`s activities warmed our planet over the past 50 years.

What are the results of global warming?

Due to the global warming among Earth`s atmosphere, glaciers are melting, sea levels are rising, wildlife is struggling to keep pace, cloud forests are dying, among many other issues.
